The NMCA U/21 XI plays off in the semi final this SUNDAY JANUARY 11 against the Dandenong District Cricket Association.The match will take place at the Alex Nelson Reserve, Harold Road, Springvale South (Melway ref. 89 A4) commencing at 11:45. Players to be at ground by 10:30.

It would be great to see as many North Metro supporters there as the boys fight to defend the crown.

The association was formed in 1920/21 under the name of Jika Jika, a later corruption of the original rendering given an aboriginal name, "Jaga Jaga", by english speaking explorers in the mid 19C. In addition to a healthy representative cricket agenda, the association now accommodates 30 affiliated clubs with their various veteran, senior and junior teams.

Cricket Victoria has launched www.in2CRICKET.com.au
as the new online home for boys' and girls' cricket.  The website features a variety of
activities for children, information on Australian players and the history of the game,
nutritional information, competitions and information on how children can get
actively involved in the game.

   MILO in2CRICKET is the new name for Cricket Australia's entry level program, formerly known as Have A Go. The program is a fun introduction to the game for young boys and girls. It provides children with an enjoyable and safe learning environment where they can build their confidence develop new skills and play games. MILO in2CRICKET teaches children the most important lesson of all which is to LOVE THE GAME. For a joining fee you also get some great giveaways, which this year are - Bat, Ball, T-Shirt, Bucket Hat, Activity Booklet, Stump Sticker, MILO Sachet and a Certificate.
